Questions about this service

How far in advance should I visit the travel clinic?

Ideally 6 to 8 weeks before your trip, as some courses (like Rabies, Hepatitis B, or Japanese Encephalitis) require multiple doses spread across several weeks. However, last-minute travellers can still obtain crucial single-dose vaccines, accelerated courses, and antimalarials right up to departure.

Do you issue official Yellow Fever certificates for international entry?

Yes. As a designated Yellow Fever Centre, we administer the Stamaril vaccine and provide the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) required for visa clearance and border control in Africa, South America, and onward destinations.

Do you provide Meningitis ACWY for Hajj and Umrah visas?

Yes. We administer quadrivalent Meningococcal ACWY vaccine and provide the signed and stamped certificate required by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

Which antimalarial tablets do you offer?

We supply Malarone (Atovaquone/Proguanil), Doxycycline 100mg, and Mefloquine (Lariam). Our pharmacist will advise which tablet is most effective for your destination resistance patterns, duration of stay, and medical suitability.

Can you help with high altitude sickness and jet lag?

Yes. Under our private clinical protocols, we can supply Acetazolamide (Diamox) for travellers ascending to high altitudes (e.g. Kilimanjaro, Andes, Himalayas) and Melatonin for rapid recovery from long-haul jet lag.
