A pharmacist can assess and treat seven common conditions here, without a GP appointment. The consultation is free on the NHS.
What the NHS gives free

Who it is for
- Anyone with one of the seven conditions, within the age limits in the NHS table on this page.
- If your condition needs a GP or urgent care, we tell you and help you get there.
- The pharmacist checks your symptoms, health and current medicines, and only supplies what is suitable for you.
Prices
Free on the NHS. If a medicine is supplied, you pay the standard NHS prescription charge unless you are exempt.

In our private consultation room, the pharmacist asks about your health and medicines and examines you if needed.

Leave with a decision
Treatment, self-care advice or a referral. A record goes to your GP practice.
Questions about this service
What does it cost?
The consultation is free. You pay the standard NHS prescription charge for any medicine supplied, unless you are exempt.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Ask at the counter during opening hours. NHS 111 and GP practices can also send you to us.
What if my condition is not covered?
The pharmacist tells you and directs you to your GP, NHS 111 or urgent care, depending on your symptoms.
Will my GP know?
Yes. The pharmacist sends a record of the consultation to your GP practice.
