Chlamydia screening and treatment

Chlamydia often has no symptoms, which is why testing matters. You collect the sample yourself, and if the result is positive we can treat it here.

Confidential Self-taken test

About this service

Simple test

A urine sample or swab you take yourself, with instructions from the pharmacist.

Treated here

A positive result can be treated at the pharmacy rather than sending you elsewhere.

Questions about this service

Who should test?
Testing is recommended for sexually active people under 25 each year and after a change of partner, and for anyone with symptoms or a concern at any age.
Is it really confidential?
Yes. The conversation happens privately and the result is not shared with anyone you have not agreed to.
What if I have symptoms?
Tell the pharmacist. Some symptoms need a sexual health clinic rather than a pharmacy, and we will say so.
